Newman “Tree” Baker is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. He was on the editorial board for Georgia State University Law Review, 2004-2006 (published). Mr. Baker’s practice includes estate planning and probate matters, real estate and commercial transactions, and business organizations. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas State Aquarium and the Board of Directors of Rise School of Corpus Christi and Rising Tide Society. He has also served as a director and officer for the Corpus Christi Young Lawyers Association and the Nueces County A&M Club. Mr. Baker is a member and involved in various endeavors of the First United Methodist Church of Corpus Christi.
